BabelDr

BabelDr is a substantial collaboration between the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, Geneva's main hospital, and Geneva University's Faculty of Translation and Interpretation. The goal of the project is to produce a web-enabled speech translator for medical examination dialogues. The main focus is on translation from French into languages spoken by victims of the current European refugee crisis, but we have also constructed an experimental version of the system which translate speech into sign language (from the menu choose 'LSF-CH' , as the patient's language).
